2006 Sonoma County Farm Bureau Scholarship Awarded
Redwood Coast Petroleum is a proud sponsor of the Sonoma County Farm Bureau Scholarship Fund. Each year, $500 is awarded to a high school senior transferring to Santa Rosa Jr. College or a four year college or university or to a continuing or transferring student from SRJC. The student must be carrying at least 12 units (or 9 units while employed in an agricultural occupation) and must be majoring in Agriculture or an Agricultural related field.
The 2006 recipient is Annie McIsaac. Annie plans to study Agricultural Business and Communications at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in the Fall. She believes that school, combined with the experience that she’s learned on her family’s dairy ranch, will help her to connect consumers with producers of agricultural products.
