Employee Safety Commitment
Redwood Coast Petroleum is committed to providing its employees,
vendors, and customers a safe and healthy environment in which to
conduct business. Ownership and management realizes its responsibility
in creating and enforcing policies and procedures that reflect that
commitment. Our objective is for every employee to be able to complete
their work without injury to themselves or to others and without
damage to property or equipment. Our safety standards include:
- Regular safety talks and new
hire training including General
Safety Rules and Ten Commandments
of Safety.
- Regular safety and facility
inspections to detect unsafe conditions
and work practices.
- Specialized training including
forklift, hazmat, hazcom, and DOT
training.
- Quarterly safety incentive programs
acknowledging positive safety behavior
and no lost time injuries.
- Disciplinary action for safety
violations.
- Anonymous safety complaint/suggestion
protocol.
- Quarterly Safety Committee meetings
comprised of senior management,
to ensure compliance with health
